Opinions?

I would love to hear your thoughts on the new layout! :) It is for the month of November to celebrate Thanksgiving! I thought that it was really cute and I absolutely love that it says family and thankful all over the place! Those are two very important topics to me. :)

My family is the most important thing in the world to me! I love my family. :) ♥ I think that everyone who has family members should be grateful for who you have. So many people are without any family members, yet so many people complain about who they are "stuck" with! I have to admit that my sisters and I don't get along all of the time, okay we don't get along most of the time, but I still love them and I wouldn't trade them for anything! :) I think that most families have those people who annoy us, but putting up with them is what families do! My family seems like a bunch of whack jobs stuck in a room on Thanksgiving, but hey you've got to work with what you've got. ♥

I am so thankful for everything! I have made a list of 5 things I am thankful for, of course I am thankful for so much more but I am just making this really quickly I have to study for a test!:

1. Family

2. Friends

3. Food and Water

4. Shelter

5. The ability to receive and education

Happy Veterans day!

I hope that you all have a great Veterans day! I think that this is a great day to honor military veterans! So remember why you have the day off from school, its to honor them, many people forget that!

Pushing Daylight

Today, the first Sunday of November, is daylight savings. Well at least where I live. :)

While switching your clocks I hope that you all check your smoke alarms as well as Carbon monoxide detectors!

Is it just me or does daylight savings just slug down the day? At 11:00 am this morning I felt as if it were 2:00 or 3:00 pm and now at 4:00 pm I feel as if it is 8:00 pm! :)

Now it starts getting dark out earlier. So enjoy the daylight while you can and go outside earlier! :)

Songs of the week

I have decided to start songs of the week! Sorry I was just having a "I want some Mexican food" moment and then I was thinking wow I really want to learn some Spanish! My mother is fluent in Spanish but she is French Canadian so you wouldn't ever really think that! She is really good at speaking it too, it's not like she has a terrible American accent. She sounds authentic! :) I am Mexican but I can't speak Spanish for my life! :( I really want to learn and my mom keeps saying that she will teach me but so far... Nada. I took Spanish in 8th grade and so now I know a few key words, as in "Hola" and "Adios" lol. I really would love to be fluent though, I think that it would be such an amazing language to know. I of course only know one language, and of course that is English.

   I get stuck speaking English! Why couldn't I be like French or something slightly better... like English with a English accent, I have an American accent. I don't mind though. :) At least I know the so called "hardest" language to learn. Personally I think that Chinese look much more difficult, the letters and symbols are just to foreign so me. =) I think that Arabian looks difficult as well. My goal is by the time I am 60 is to learn at LEAST five different languages!!! One of them has to be a backwards language. :) (I read a study that said learning a backwards language may help decrease chances of Alzheimer's)
 
So what languages do you know and what languages do you wish you knew?



Also, I just have to say that I haven't gotten a chance to upload a picture of my Halloween costume but when I do I will put it up! :)

School Stuff

My post lately have been not-so-great and I am really sorry about that! I have been super busy with school and extra curriculars! I like staying really busy during the school year so that I don't get bored. I get bored amazingly easy! :( I am also not the best writer and that also affects my posts, so boo my blog isn't all to great in general. I have 7 followers though so I guess you guys like it! :) I honestly am not too creative so I have a hard time thinking up blog post ideas, but I am trying to think up some "new" fun things to do. Any ideas?

I just have to say that I absolutely love getting every one's opinions on my posts, you can honestly say if the post stinks or not and I don't consider that rude because hey if it does it does! I love to find out what I should work on for the next post to make this blog even better, constructive criticism everyone. ;)



So I guess I should ask how Halloween went for everyone! I had fun and I got a large amount of candy, I just went with my sisters to make sure they made it along okay. :) I got a bunch of compliments on my costume, I was a bunch of grapes (as stated in this post), my one of my sisters was an "80s" girl her costume was really awesome, and my other sister was a graduation clown thing (I am not exactly sure what she was supposed to be she spent all of her costume money on her mask so she kind of had to create an outfit to go with it, it was my mom's college grad robe lol). I will defiantly post pictures as soon as I get them onto my computer!!
